Report: Chris Paul Requests Trade to Knicks, Also Wants to Play With Dwight HowardChris Paul's Christmas list is pretty unreasonable.

The star point guard wants out of New Orleans, and his agent requested a trade to the New York Knicks on Thursday, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

That's not the only thing Paul wants, as sources told Wojnarowski that Paul has contacted Dwight Howard, "encouraging Howard to find a way for the two to play together." The report indicates that Howard isn't necessarily on board with that idea.

Both players will become free agents at the end of the upcoming season, and while both the Hornets and Magic will try to re-sign their stars, they may be forced to try to get a worthwhile return in a trade.

The team offering that return, however, isn't likely to be the Knicks, who traded away a number of players and pieces last year in order to acquire Carmelo Anthony.

The report indicates that the Celtics, Warriors, Nets and Rockets are all interested in Paul and "have been aggressive" in trying to work out a deal.
