Report: Kobe Bryant's Wife, Vanessa Bryant, Files for Divorce Citing 'Irreconcilable Differences'Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was understandably upset after the Lakers failed to acquire Chris Paul or Dwight Howard. However, those problems pale in comparison to the issues that Bryant is reportedly having on the home front.

TMZ.com reports that Bryant's wife, Vanessa Bryant, filed for divorce on Friday afternoon. The report states that "irreconcilable differences" are the reason for the filing.

According to TMZ, Vanessa grew tired of Bryant's unfaithfulness.

"She's been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she's finally had enough," says a source cited in the report. "This one is the straw that broke the camel's back."

Bryant is reportedly trying to save the marriage, while Vanessa is asking for joint custody of the couple's two daughters. Also, it's reported that no prenup was signed (Bryant makes roughly $25 million per season).

Vanessa Bryant was in the news back in 2003, when she stood by Kobe after he was charged with sexual assault in Colorado. The Lakers star admitted to having sexual relations with the accuser, but denied any sort of assault. The charges were eventually dropped.
