Rex Ryan Holds Ice Cream Social With Offensive Players, Including Plaxico Burress, in His Office Every Thursday

Rex Ryan emphatically ended a team meeting during HBO's Hard Knocks series by yelling at his players to get a snack. It must have been Thursday.

Ryan has ice cream socials in his office each Thursday with a few of the Jets' offensive players, including wide receiver Plaxico Burress, the team's official Twitter account revealed on Tuesday.

No other details regarding the socials were made available. It remains unclear what kind of ice cream we're talking about, which other offensive players partake in this little get-together or whether the defense feels a little left out for not being there.

The Jets did lose their only Thursday night game this season, though, falling to Tim Tebow and the Broncos in Week 11. Must have been a bad batch that week.
