Sean Avery Guarantees New Team 'Won't Ever Be Sorry' for Signing HimSean Avery is understandably upset after being waived by the New York Rangers for the second time this year. Now, he's not holding back on letting the world know that he's ready to move on, too.

"I have a lot to prove," Avery told the New York Post, "and I have a lot of game left after not being allowed to play my game for the last four years."

Avery then went on to call out Rangers coach John Tortorella for never giving him a chance to play his kind of game.

"I guarantee that I'll play my [butt] off and give everything I have for the team that will give me the chance I wasn't getting," he declared. "The GM and coach willing to look past some of the things that are out there about me, I can guarantee they won't ever be sorry, and neither would my teammates.

"I'm hungry to prove people wrong."

Avery was waived at the start of the season but was recalled from the Rangers' AHL affiliate due to a string of injuries. His agent, Pat Morris, was given permission by the Rangers to seek out a trade, but it's pretty unlikely that anything Avery says will do much to change rival teams' thoughts on the controversial winger.

At least he'll always have his modeling career to fall back on.
