The Bruins used an incredible team effort from top to bottom to post a 12-0-1 record in November. That doesn't mean that the B's didn't have any sparkling individual performances, though.

Goalie Tim Thomas was named the NHL's First Star for November on Thursday, as he continues to shine between the pipes for the defending Stanley Cup champions.

Thomas was a perfect 9-0-0 during November, building on what looks like another tremendous season for the defending Vezina Trophy winner. The netminder also posted a tidy 1.76 goals against average behind a stellar .941 save percentage.

Chicago's Jonathan Toews was named the league's Second Star and Toronto's Joffrey Lupol earned Third Star honors.
