Which NHL Player Deserves Coal In His Stocking This Holiday Season? It's holiday time, which means the Bruins will have a couple of days off in between playing the Panthers on Friday night and flying to Phoenix to play the Coyotes next Wednesday.

Brad Marchand posted a holiday wish list on Tuesday, and detailed all of the gifts that he hopes his friends and teammates on the Bruins receive during their holiday break away from the ice. One gift in particular stood out: he doesn't think Tyler Seguin has been a very good boy this year.

"A lump of coal goes to Tyler for sure," Marchand wrote. "There's no question about that. He's always misbehaving."

As for the rest of the NHL, there are plenty of other players who would be deserving of a lump of coal this holiday season. So many, in fact, that a prospective gift-giver might have some trouble narrowing it down to just one recipient.

P.K. Subban deserves a lump of coal, but if you get too close trying to give it to him, he might throw up his arms and dive to try to draw a penalty on you. Henrik and Daniel Sedin, on the other hand, might not like that you are trying to give them coal, but they will just sit there and take it anyway.

If you try to give Matt Cooke some well-deserved coal, you better keep your head on a swivel the rest of the night and look out for flying elbows. And Phil Kessel, well, Phil might just ignore you when you try to get his attention.

Roberto Luongo might be deserving of some holiday coal, but don't throw it to him. He will probably miss it and it will end up behind him. And Tomas Kaberle, well, he's a Canadien now, and isn't that reason enough?
