Musician John Parr recently jumped on the Tim Tebow bandwagon, creating a remake of his 1985 hit "St. Elmo's Fire" with the quarterback as the focal point. Apparently, the Patriots' rout of the Broncos on Saturday has Parr singing a different tune.
During a skit on Conan, host Conan O'Brien — a lifelong Patriots fan — presented a parody of Parr's Tebow song to reflect what the musician was likely feeling at halftime of Saturday's game, when New England was in complete control.
O'Brien's parody includes Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who caught three touchdown passes in the game, as well as punter Zoltan Mesko.
Check out O'Brien's parody in the video below, which discusses "Gronkowski's fire" and "Mesko's fire," rather than "Tim Tebow's fire" or "St. Elmo's fire."
