Early Carolina Energy Making Trouble While Bruins May Finally Be Missing Brad Marchand

We’re three games through Brad Marchand‘s five-game suspension, and the Bruins may finally be missing the energy and peskiness that their winger brings to the game.

NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette has noticed that the Hurricanes seem like they’re really going all-out in this one and the Bruins are having some trouble with the Carolina attack. If not for Tim Thomas‘ stellar play, the B’s might not be heading into the last period tied. Luckily, he’s there and the B’s have a great chance at escaping Carolina with a win. An early third-period goal from Milan Lucic helps, too.

Do you think the B’s have been missing Marchand so far in the early part of Saturday night’s game?
