Jason Taylor played football with plenty of passion in his 15-year career. So when he received the game ball following the Dolphins' victory over the Jets on Sunday in what was his final game before retiring, he had to battle to hold back tears.

Taylor delivered an emotional speech in the Miami locker room following the game. He referred to a football locker room as the best fraternity in the world, and one that he appreciates greatly.

The six-time Pro Bowler had one small request for his teammates, though. He asked that they cherish the game because one day their careers will also come to an end.

Taylor spent 13 of his 15 seasons with the Dolphins. He also played for the Jets and Redskins in recent years. His 139.5 career sacks, which ranks sixth all time, made him the NFL's active leader this season.

It was an illustrious career for Taylor. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.
