FOXBORO, Mass. — It's always curious when a player misses practice for non-injury reasons, as Kyle Love did Wednesday, but the Patriots defensive tackle said there was no cause for concern.

"Everything is good," he said Thursday.

Love will play an important role in Saturday's playoff game against the Broncos, who boast the NFL's top-ranked rushing offense. Denver's offensive line targeted both Love and defensive lineman Vince Wilfork with double teams during its successful rushing attack early in their Week 15 meeting.

Non-injury reasons could cover a wide range of things, such as a personal issue or a day of rest (but not illnesses, which must be listed). But fear not, said Love, who was the only player to miss practice all week. He was back in the fold Thursday.

"There were no major issues," Love said about his absence. "I really don't want to speak on what happened. We're back going and getting ready for this weekend. That's all I can really say about it."
