Green Bay Packers linebacker Brad Jones registered just 19 tackles during Green Bay’s 15-1 season. However, that number doesn’t take into account his most noteworthy takedown, which took place on Sunday afternoon.
Jones did his part to make Lambeau Field a safer and more fan-friendly place when he decided to tackle a young fan who had run onto the field during the Packers’ season finale against the Detroit Lions.
The Green Bay Press Gazette (via ProFootballTalk) reports that the fan was a 15-year-old. After getting some quality face time on some of the most sacred ground in all of football, the young whippersnapper was brought to the ground by Jones.
