Patrice Bergeron’s Tip-in Goal Earns Captain Morgan Goal of the Week Honors (Video)

January 21, 2012

With less than 10 seconds left on the Bruins' second period power play, Patrice Bergeron took matters into his own hands.

The Florida Panthers only had three men on the ice and were the unfortunate victims of Bergeron's tip. Tyler Seguin calmly glided toward the goal before ripping a shot through traffic. Bergeron was able to get a stick on it, and put it past Florida goalie Scott Clemmensen.

Bergeron's goal gave the Bruins a 2-1 lead and was voted this week's Captain Morgan Goal of the Week.

Check out the goal in the video below.
