The Celtics' aging core of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett can still play, but as Pierce's heel injury and Allen's flu bug have shown, the members of the Big Three aren't getting any younger.

Certain things, like fine wine, grow better with age, but that's not the case with NBA players. Now in their mid-30s, the Celtics' veterans are geriatric by basketball standards.
