Report: Liverpool in Talks to Sign Kristoffer Nordfeldt From IF BrommapojkarnaKristoffer Nordfeldt is traveling to Liverpool with hopes of completing a deadline-day move to the Reds. The 22-year-old goalkeeper is a free agent, having last played for Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna, according to Sky Sports.

"It's obvious that it feels terrific, but I try to keep the feet firmly planted on the ground." Sky Sports reports Nordfeldt told Fotbolldirekt.se. "We'll see what plans they have for me. That will certainly be exciting."

Nordfelt has been the starting goalkeeper at Brommapojkarna since the 2008 season. His reputation has grown since then, as he played over 100 games in league and cup competitions over four years.

He became a starter on Sweden's under-21 national team in early 2009, and made his debut for the senior national team last August.

LFC would not be required to pay a transfer fee to sign Nordfeldt, as he is out of contract. It is likely that he would first join the reserve team, before challenging for the job of back-up to longtime LFC starter Pepe Reina.
