Mike Cammalleri won't have to worry about the Canadiens' "losing mentality" any more.

The former Habs winger has been traded to the Calgary Flames. The interesting part of it was that the trade was finalized in the middle the Bruins-Canadiens game on Thursday night, and Cammalleri was pulled off the ice toward the end of the second period.

Cammalleri, goaltender Karri Ramo and a fifth-round pick are headed to Calgary in a deal that will land the Canadiens forwards Rene Bourque, Patrick Holland and a second-round pick in 2013.

This comes just a day after Cammalleri came under fire for criticizing the locker room mentality of the Canadiens. He had also recently complained about a lack of ice time, which may have played a part in the Habs deciding to pull the trigger.

It was reported that Cammalleri is not travelling with the Canadiens back to Montreal and is waiting in a Boston hotel room until he figures out how to meet up with his new team.
