Tim Tebow did more than help the Broncos advance in the NFL playoffs by guiding Denver to an overtime victory over the Steelers on Sunday. He also clinched a nice payday for himself.

Tebow has a $250,000 escalator in his contract for each playoff victory and 70 percent of playing time, ESPN reports.

Tebow, who played 73 percent of Denver's plays this season, can reportedly earn another $250,000 by leading the Broncos over the Patriots this Saturday. The victory also changed Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy's plans, according to ESPN. McCoy reportedly was scheduled to interview for the Jaguars' head coaching job on Monday, but with the short week to prepare for the Patriots, McCoy will have to reschedule.
