Reports are in saying that the NFL’s leading reception leader is officially off the market. Welker and longtime girlfriend/Miss Hooters International 2005, Anna Burns, are supposedly set to tie the knot after dating for two years.
The Patriots locker room must be thrilled for their teammate, but will head coach Bill Belichick be worried that Welker may not be focusing 100 percent on the team’s next game? Here’s hoping the two take the next few weeks off before beginning wedding arrangements. And while Welker may be proud of the new ring he’s put on Burns’ finger, he’s got another piece of jewlery in his sights right now — a Super Bowl ring.
