FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was the only player missing from practice Friday for the second consecutive day as he continued to nurse a left ankle injury.

The Patriots practiced in full pads for the first time since Jan. 10, when the team held its first practice in anticipation of their divisional round game against the Broncos.

It was the Patriots' final practice before Sunday's flight to Indianapolis.

Gronkowski said Sunday he'll be ready to play in the Super Bowl. His father told a Western New York radio station on Friday that he's dealing with a high ankle sprain.
