Rob Gronkowski Wearing Walking Boot As Patriots Land in Indianapolis

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski wore a walking boot on his left foot during the team's flight to Indianapolis.

It was a black boot that matched his suit pants and his other shoe, which made it appear as though the Patriots were trying to disguise the boot.

Gronkowski didn't participate in either of the Patriots' two practices last week after injuring his ankle during the AFC Championship victory against the Ravens. He said after the game he'd be fine to play in the Super Bowl, but he hasn't spoken to the media since that postgame locker room session.

The Patriots landed in Indianapolis around 5 p.m. Sunday. They will release injury reports after practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
