Robert Kraft on Patriots' Dramatic Victory: 'We Had an Angel'FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots owner Robert Kraft felt the presence of his late wife, Myra, during the team's thrilling 23-20 victory against the Ravens in Sunday's AFC Championship.

As Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff hooked a 32-yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Kraft knew she was watching.

"Someone was smiling," Kraft said with strong emotion. "We had an angel."

Then, Kraft kissed his fingers and pointed toward the sky.

The Patriots' 2011 season has been dedicated in Myra's memory. The players have worn patches with her initials, "MHK," on their jerseys, and they bought Kraft a painting in her honor as a gift. Myra's memory remained strong in the locker room Sunday night.

"We're playing the season for her," tight end Rob Gronkowski said. "It's great. That's how we just won the AFC Championship. The season is dedicated to her, which is awesome, the way it should be. An amazing woman she was, and it's great to be part of it here with the Patriots."
