Robin Van Persie, Mikel Arteta and Laurent Koscielny Appear in Cinemgraphs, Selling Citroen DS5 CarsMoving images of Arsenal stars Robin Van Persie, Mikel Arteta and Laurent Koscielny were used to advertise Citroen's new line of DS5 cars. The pictures weren't the emotional type of moving. Rather they were images of the players moving within still photos, according to Arsenal.com.

"This has been a great activity to kick off the newly extended partnership between Arsenal and Citroen," Vinai Venkatesham, head of global partnerships at Arsenal said. "The cinemagraphs make fantastic visuals, are very eye-catching and we’re delighted to be the first club to get involved with the technology."

Each image shows one of the Gunners doing a preferred ball trick next to the U.K. automaker's new model. The technology blends moving and still images in an innovative way.

We don't know if the car can zip through U.K. streets as easily as Swansea zipped through the Arsenal defense last Saturday. But time will tell.
