Rajon Rondo is raring to go.
The point guard is hoping to play against the Phoenix Suns on Friday night as his MRI tests came back negative, according to CSNNE.com. He is listed as a game-time decision, but would rather play than sit on the bench for the struggling Celtics' squad.
"It gets better everyday," Rondo said to A. Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE. "Hopefully in a couple hours, it'll be better than this."
Rondo's wrist was in a brace during Celtics' shoot-around Friday morning. He is second on the team in scoring (15 points per game) and leads the team with 9.4 assists per game.
