Semih Erden is not walking through that door, fans. Or is he?

The Turkish center, who played in 37 games with the Celtics last season, is open to potentially returning to Boston, according to CSNNE.com.

Erden — now a member of the Cavaliers after being dealt to them for a draft pick prior to last year's trade deadline — did not play during the teams' matchup on Sunday night, and has not played in the last four games for Cleveland.

The 25-year-old big man will be a free agent this summer, and he told CSNNE.com that the C's will be on his short list of teams he'll consider playing for.

"Why not?" Erden said. "We will see what happens. I was in the street yesterday, everybody know me; that was exciting, they did not forget me. I was like, 'oh, that's nice!' To be here, this was my first [NBA] experience. I'm happy."

Erden averaged 4.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 14.4 minutes per game with Boston last season.
