President Barack Obama and film director Spike Lee might root for different NBA teams, but that didn’t stop them from coming together Thursday night for the same cause.

The President attended several fund-raisers in New York City Thursday evening — one of which at Lee’s house. While there, Obama, along with his wife, Michelle, received a specially made pair of Air Jordans that included the Presidential Seal.

Tweeting live from the event, Lee said, “President Obama Is A Huge Bulls And Jordan Fan.Here He Holds His Gift Of Spizikes From MJ Himself.” The avid Knicks fan also made sure to have his picture taken of he and Obama holding up a pair of the sneakers.
