Boston University, Boston College Highlight Weekend Hockey East Action on NESN

This weekend on NESN looks to be one filled with exciting and competitive hockey at both the professional and collegiate levels.

Coverage starts Friday at 7 p.m. with Hockey East Face-Off LIVE, followed by a Hockey East matchup between second-ranked Boston University and visiting Providence College at 7:30 p.m. The Terriers made a quick jump in the national rankings, moving from the No. 6 spot.

On Saturday, the Bruins take on the Rangers in a game between two of the best teams in the NHL’s Eastern Conference. Boston trails New York by one point as the teams prepare for this marquee matinee matchup, preceded by Bruins Face-Off LIVE at 12:30 p.m. The puck drops at the TD Garden at 1 p.m.

Immediately following Bruins postgame coverage, Hockey East goes live again at 4 p.m. as third-ranked Boston College hits the road to take on conference foe University of Maine. After Hockey East Overtime LIVE at 6:30 p.m., Bruins in 2 airs at 7 p.m. with a two-hour recap of the B’s-Rangers game.

NESN’s weekend-long hockey coverage ends Sunday with another showing of Bruins in 2 at 12:30 p.m, followed by Bruins Face-Off LIVE at 2:30, followed by Eastern Conference rivals Boston and Philadelphia squaring off in Philadelphia at 3 p.m.

Coverage concludes with Bruins Overtime LIVE at 5:30 p.m.
