Tebow Time may not be over just yet, folks.

Despite an embarrassing 45-10 playoff loss against the Patriots last weekend, Tim Tebow could still have a chance to compete in athletics. Karina Smirnoff, a professional dancer who competes professionally on Dancing With the Stars, is literally wishing for the famed Broncos quarterback to join the show.

"All I want for my birthday is for Tim Tebow to dance on Dancing With the Stars," Smirnoff said at her Las Vegas birthday party last Saturday, according to the New York Daily News. "Tim is a very talented athlete, that was clear when we saw his performance this past season with Denver."

That wish could very well come true, given Tebow's propensity for performing in unlikely circumstances. Against New England, the former Florida Gator reportedly finished out the game despite torn rib cartilage, a bruised lung and fluid in his chest. The chance to compete again in the face of his poor health should be tempting to the second-year quarterback.

And the odds are good he would make it, since the show has yet to fill the slot often designated for NFL players. In the show's 11 seasons, Emmitt Smith, Warren Sapp, Jason Taylor, Jerry Rice, Kurt Warner, Lawrence Taylor, and Hines Ward have all been contestants. Despite plenty of success, Ward was the only one to take home the crown.

Tebow could very well be the second considering his history with unlikely victories. After an NFL season full of them, it seems all he has to do now is strap on a pair of blessed tap shoes, strike his signature pose and maybe let higher powers take care of the rest.
