Tim Tebow Warms Up Nearly Three Hours Before Kickoff, Wearing No Sleeves in Bitter ColdFOXBORO, Mass. — Tim Tebow is ready to play.

The Broncos' quarterback hit the field early on Saturday night, heading out of the tunnel around 5:30 p.m., which is nearly three full hours before the opening kickoff.

Tebow was wearing a sleeveless shirt, despite the temperature sitting around 28 degrees in Foxboro.

He started with some short, 15-yard passes and chatted with CBS color analyst Phil Simms. He then opened it up a bit, working on his deep ball. He threw those passes from one 25-yard line to the other.

He worked on some rollouts and throwing across his body before taking some reps from the shotgun and throwing a 12-yard out route. Tebow also worked on taking some snaps from under center and throwing the deep fade route to the front pylon of the end zone.

Tebow jogged off the field and back down the tunnel to the locker room at 6 p.m., but he returned about 20 minutes later to warm up with the rest of his team. After nearly all of his teammates left the field, he again walked off at 6:45 p.m.
