Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has had an impressive season, and he added one more regular-season accolade on Thursday.

Brady was named the AFC Player of the Month for December/January, the league announced. It marks the second time this season that Brady has been named the offensive player of the month, as it follows up a November in which he won the same honor.

His offensive numbers were once again impressive, but Brady also helped lead the Patriots to a 5-0 record down the stretch, helping New England win the AFC East in addition to earning the No. 1 seed and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

He also torched opposing defenses for more than 1,600 yards in those five games, while tossing 11 touchdowns. He threw for 300 yards in four of the five Patriots games in the two months. Those numbers helped earn Brady a passer rating of 106.6.
