More impressive than this stat was Brady's five (yes, five) TDs in the first half, which is an NFL playoff record. He finished the evening with 363 passing yards and completed 26-of-34 passes.
Ten of those pass attempts landed in the huge mitts of Rob Gronkowski. Gronk had three touchdown grabs and finished with 145 receiving yards, which led the Pats.
The other tight end, Aaron Hernandez, got in on the fun with 116 total yards. He rushed for 61 yards on five attempts and caught four passes for 55 yards.
Not only was the offense impressive, but the defense was able to get to Tebow and bring him to the ground five times. Rob Ninkovich and Vince Wilfork led the way with 1.5 sacks each. Brandon Spikes and Shaun Ellis each added one.
The defense also played well against the pass as Tebow finished 9-of-26 with 136 yards. This was just six days after he finished with 316 yards and 10 completions in a playoff win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
