With the game well in hand in the fourth quarter of Saturday's divisional round showdown, Tom Brady got a chance to switch things up a bit. It resulted in a lot of craziness.

Brady set up in the shotgun on third down with the Patriots leading 45-10 and just over three minutes remaining on the clock. But rather than take a shot at picking up the first down, the New England quarterback punted the ball downfield. It caught the Broncos off guard, pinned them back deep in their own zone and got Brady and Co. off the field, eliminating the potential for any fluke injuries.

The punt, however, wasn't even the most interesting part of the play. It was the extracurriculars that ensued that really took things to another level.

Broncos linebacker Von Miller started mixing it up with Patriots guard Dan Connolly away from the play, which eventually resulted in Matt Light getting involved. After some emphatic shoves, things really started to escalate, with bodies flying all over the New England sideline. Even Bill Belichick was in the middle of the fray trying to restore order.

The throwing of yellow laundry obviously came soon after.

Check out Brady's unique punt, and the skirmish that broke out in the video below.
