The Bruins still await word on if and how long Brad Marchand will be suspended for his hit on Canucks defenseman Sami Salo during Saturday's emotional Stanley Cup rematch at TD Garden. One Vancouver newspaper's website seems to have figured it out, though.
The Province posted an article on Monday afternoon with a headline that read, "Bruins' Marchand gets XXX-game suspension for dirty Salo hit."
The article made no mention of exactly how long "XXX-game" is, but we could only imagine. After all, XXX does equal 30 in Roman numerals, which most people are surely familiar with solely because of the Super Bowl.
The website took down the post a little while later, but it led to many Bruins enthusiasts getting a good laugh on Twitter. All joking aside, though, it was a simple mistake and the folks over at The Province have been good sports about it, even retweeting WEEI.com's DJ Bean, who made fun of the post.
