Max Nicastro of the Boston University men's hockey team has been arrested and charged with sexual assault.

Nicastro was arrested at around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to CBS Boston. He was reportedly accused of sexually assaulting a female student on campus.

BU's athletic director Michael Lynch told CSNNE.com that the junior defenseman has been suspended by the team pending the outcome of the investigation.

Corey Trivino, a former BU hockey player, was thrown off the team earlier this season after he was charged with sexual assault.

Nicastro is currently being held on $25,000 bail and will be arraigned in Brighton District Court on Tuesday.
