The New York Giants returned home on Monday to receive a hero's welcome as the newly crowned Super Bowl champions. There was at least one noticeable absentee — quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning.
That's because Manning was in Florida on Monday where he spent the day with Mickey and Minnie Mouse at Disney World. It's become tradition for the game's MVP to spend a day at Disney, and the "I'm going to Disney World!" commercial has become a staple of the Super Bowl.
It won't be a long trip for Manning, though, as he spent only a day in Florida before returning to the New York/New Jersey area for a championship parade on Tuesday.
