Jason Pierre-Paul won't be stepping into the squared circle after all.

Pierre-Paul was expected to make an appearance on TNA Wrestling on Monday night, according to FOXSports.com, but the Giants defensive end has now reportedly decided against it.

"He declined because he is exhausted," Robert Bailey, the president of Rosenhaus Sports, told FOXSports.com in a text message.

TNA and Spike TV officials reportedly thought a deal was finalized earlier this weekend, which would have entailed Pierre-Paul having an in-ring confrontation with wrestler Kurt Angle during an event on Orlando. The lineman never signed off on the deal, though, and it now appears that he's backed out of it completely.

Pierre-Paul likely wouldn't have wrestled Angle, but the in-ring cameo would have garned some extra media attention for TNA, which reportedly used Jets linebacker Bart Scott in a similar guest role last year.
