Some football players celebrate a Super Bowl victory by going to Disney World. Giants rookie Greg Jones celebrated his team’s big win by proposing to his longtime girlfriend.

Jones popped the question to his main squeeze Amanda Piechowski on the field as confetti flew, according to The Star-Ledger.

“She was bawling,” Jones said Monday morning. “I was like, ‘I don’t know how long she’s going to keep crying.'”

The pair met at Michigan State and have been dating for three years. The bride-to-be also happens to be a former Spartans basketball player.

“She definitely knows how I feel. A speech wasn’t even needed,” he said. “Just everything we’ve been through together. She’s been here since Day One and she knew me long before everything else.”

The sixth-round pick in the 2011 NFL draft had practice squad tight end Christian Hopkins hang onto the ring during the game. He added that he wouldn’t have proposed at that moment had the Patriots won.
