Jacoby Ellsbury Looks Ready for NFL Combine With 36-Inch Vertical Leap (Photo)

If Jacoby Ellsbury's baseball career ever takes a turn for the worse, he certainly has a shot at playing for the Celtics.

While working out in Fort Myers, Fla., Ellsbury put his jumping skills to the test. The result? Ellsbury registered a vertical leap of an astounding 36 inches. To put that into perspective, the Sox centerfielder is 6-foot-1 so Ellsbury was able to jump almost half his height.
