Manny Pacquiao Hints He May Retire From Boxing Because of Religious BeliefsThere's a good chance the higly anticipated Floyd Mayweather Jr.Manny Pacquiao fight won't happen yet again, although this time "Pretty Boy" Floyd isn't the reason why.

Pacquiao said that he may end his boxing career since it is no longer compatible with his newfound religious beliefs, according to a report by Minda News.

"It's not right that I share God's word and at the same time hurt other people," he said Monday when speaking in front the Philippine Army's 73rd Infantry Battalion. "I've gained more than enough blessings these past years, so I think it's time for me to return the favor."

Pacman reportedly began taking Bible studies last November after his unanimous win over Juan Manuel Marquez, and he later accepted an offer from the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines to become its Bible ambassador.

According to the report, Pacquiao, a representative of the Philippine province Sarangani, has also shut down his restaurant and bar, sold a casino he owned and got rid of his approximately 1,000 fighting roosters.

Pacquiao is scheduled to fight welterweight titleholder Timothy Bradley in Las Vegas on June 9. The 33-year-old owns a 54-3-2 career record and has six major world titles.
