The Marlins have a policy barring players from growing long hair. Unfortunately for Jose Reyes — who left the Mets and signed with the Marlins in December — he will have to abide by those regulations.

As a result of signing a six-year, $105 million contract with Miami, the All-Star shortstop will have his signature dreadlocks cut on MLB Network on Friday at 6 p.m. Despite inking the superstar, Marlins president David Samson stuck to his guns at the Winter Meetings.

"The answer is, there'll be team rules," Samson said in December. "Everyone follows the team rules, whatever they are."
