Ray Whitney, Mike Knuble, Antoine Vermette Among Players Who Could Fit in With Struggling Bruins

The Bruins have dropped back-to-back road games for the first time this season, and are just 4-7 in their last 11 games, with two of those wins coming in a shootout.

So with the trade deadline coming up on Feb. 27, general manager Peter Chiarelli could look to make some changes in an effort to give his team a boost as it heads down the stretch. NESN's Mark Mowers thinks the B's will need to go after a couple of forwards with both Nathan Horton and Rich Peverley's health status uncertain.

Mowers doesn't think the Bruins need to make a big splash that would involve breaking up the current chemistry, though. Instead, he thinks guys like Mike Knuble, Ray Whitney and Antoine Vermette could be nice trade targets.

For now, Claude Julien's club is just remaining focused on the task at hand, which is executing better.
