Red Sox Truck Day Sends Team Equipment From Fenway Park to Lee County (Photos)A couple of snow flurries have never kept Boston fans from supporting their teams, and the weather sure didn’t keep Red Sox nation away from Fenway on Saturday.

The Sox celebrated “Truck Day,” the annual send-off as the team’s equipment makes the long journey down to Florida to join the team for spring training. All the gear was loaded Saturday into a big rig that read “The Green Monster’s On The Move.”

On the move is right. With nearly 1,500 miles between Fenway and JetBlue Park, the team’s new spring training venue, that driver better get cozy. Unfortunately for him, he will have to rush somewhat with pitchers and catchers reporting on Feb. 19.
