It's been an interesting offseason in Boston, and most fans don't really know what to expect in 2012.
Despite the changes for the Red Sox, however, the team is still poised to be a serious contender this season, just as the Sox were for most of last season before the epic late-season collapse. But even so, there's still plenty of questions that remain unanswered as spring training creeps closer and closer.
Will the Sox add another pitcher? What's to come of David Ortiz's contract situation? How will Bobby Valentine handle the team's shortstop platoon?
