How Will the Bruins Retaliate Against Ottawa for Kyle Turris' Hit on Joe Corvo? There’s a reason that playoffs breed such intensity of emotions between teams. Big hits, cheap shots and every little slight is magnified because teams operate knowing that they’ll have to own up for their actions the rest of the series.

On Tuesday, the Bruins will get a chance of sorts to show a playoff-like intensity playing the Ottawa Senators for the second straight game.

While there’s only two points at stake, the Senators will be looking to avenge a loss on Saturday night to the B’s and make up some ground in the Eastern Conference race. For the Bruins, Tuesday night’s game might be about much more.

Kyle Turris crunched Joe Corvo into the boards on Saturday night with a seemingly dirty hit that somehow did not earn him a suspension from NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan. Additionally, Chris Neil lit up Johnny Boychuk on the open ice, knocking Boychuk out of the game and out of the B’s lineup with concussion symptoms.

The Bruins will now have the choice of whether or not to retaliate for the hits or try to keep their cool and focus on winning. What’s it going to be?
