The Boston Bruins didn't do a whole lot right on Thursday night. The team's 6-2 loss to the Florida Panthers was not only brutal to watch, but it showed just how far the B's have fallen since dominating this same Florida team 9-0 back in January.

While the team seemed to struggle for much of the second and third periods, the first period actually showed some promise for the B's. Tyler Seguin and Patrice Bergeron led the attack in the period, using the forecheck as their best weapon in an attempt to turn defensive pressure into offensive gain.

The strategy didn't quite work out in the end, but NESN analyst Billy Jaffe explains why he liked how the B's attacked the zone in the first period.

Check out Jaffe' breakdown of the team's performance in the video Above.
