Tyler Seguin tops the NHL in plus-minus right now with a plus-35, and regardless of whether you believe in the statistic's merit, leading the NHL in anything is pretty impressive.
But the last time a Bruins forward maintained that feat through the end of the season was three seasons ago during the 2008-09 campaign. David Krejci managed to hold on to a plus-37 in a year when three Bruins players finished in the top 10.
In fact, Krejci barely beat out teammate Blake Wheeler, who was a plus-36 for the season.
Krejci has taken a bit of a tumble in this year's rankings, currently holding the worst plus-minus on the Bruins with a minus-4.
But despite Krejci's up-and-down year, the B's still have someone atop the leaderboard. And if Seguin can finish the season that way, it will be the second consecutive season with a Boston player in the top spot, as Zdeno Chara held the league's top plus-minus as a defenseman last year with a plus-32.
