The Hockey East tournament is just about upon us, as the 28th edition of the conference tournament is set to open on Thursday night.
Hockey East announced its seedings over the weekend, and they are listed below.
No. 1 Boston College versus No. 8 Massachusetts
No. 2 UMass-Lowell versus No. 7 Providence
No. 3 Boston University versus No. 6 New Hampshire
No. 4 Maine versus No. 5 Merrimack
UMass-Lowell and Providence will open the tournament on Thursday, and the rest of the matchups will begin on Friday night.
NESN will broadcast Game 2 of the BU-UNH series on Saturday, March 10 at 4 p.m.
