BRADENTON, Fla. –– Pedro Ciriaco will be leading off against his former major league club on Wednesday for the Red Sox against the Pirates in Bradenton.
In 23 games for the Pirates last season, Ciriaco batted .303 with six RBIs before being sent back down.
The Red Sox will also have a look at Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Ryan Lavarnway in the same lineup together.
