Jason Terry Would Consider Playing With LeBron James, Miami Heat Next SeasonLess than a year after beating the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, Jason Terry is considering the possibility of playing with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade next season.

Terry's contract with the Dallas Mavericks will expire at the end of this season and he's set to beomce a free agent. He was asked about the idea of playing for Miami before the two teams faced off on Thursday night, according to an ESPN.com story.

"Miami is definitely a title contender," Terry said. "No question, they need a veteran shooter… So I think I'd be an asset to them."

Terry made it known that he wants to retire as a member of the Dallas Mavericks. However, he noted that after he was not offered an extension in this past offseason, that it might be time to think about playing for another team.

Money may ultimately be a factor in his decision. The Heat can only offer the veteran guard the mini mid-level exception of $3 million per season, while Terry is currently making over $11 million with the Mavericks.

Regardless of where he ends up, Terry says he just wants to be in the league.

"That jersey has a logo on it. It says, 'NBA'. No matter what team it is, it doesn't matter. So I'll be excited."
