Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard doesn't appear to be going anywhere any time soon.

Howard has signed to waive the early termination option in his contract which means that he is under contract with the Magic through next season, reports ESPN's Chris Broussard.

Howard has spent much of the last year lobbying for a trade, and there were reports as recent as the last couple of days that Howard still wanted to be traded. He went back and forth with the decision over the past couple of days, before saying early Thursday morning that he would indeed sign the ETO.
