Everyone expected the NFL to punish the New Orleans Saints for allowing their players to have a bounty program, where players and coaches paid cash for big hits and even injuring opponents. But not many people were ready for the whopper Roger Goodell handed down yesterday.

The organization and its leaders took some stiff fines and suspensions, and Saints players are likely next.
