Samuel L. Jackson Uses 'Pulp Fiction' Line While Doing Pregame Introductions Before Hornets Game (Video)The New Orleans Hornets have gone to some interesting measures this season to try to attract fans to games, such as having actor/comedian Will Ferrell announce the starting lineups for the Bulls and Hornets on Feb. 9.

On Thursday night, it was Samuel L. Jackson's turn to play honorary PA announcer.

While Jackson didn't bring any jokes with him, he did transform one famous line — which appeared in Pulp Fiction — into a motivational speech for the Hornets.

"They will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy New Orleans, and you will know their name in the Hornets," Jackson said around the two-minute mark.

Apparently the speech worked, as the Western Conference's last-place team knocked off the Clippers 97-90 in Chris Paul's return to New Orleans.

Check out Jackson doing the pregame intros in the video below.
